What the promotion is

Rakeback up to 50% is an open-ended weekly promotion that has been running since 2017. The promotion page describes it as extra rakeback on the cash games you play during the week, on top of all the other promotions and rakeback you already receive. The terms speak of total poker rake, so check in the client which games count for you.

The money comes as cash, not as points, tickets or bonus funds, and can be withdrawn like any other balance. Only funded players qualify, meaning players who have made real-money deposits.

The six tiers

The percentage depends on the rake you generate in one week, Monday to Sunday: $200–299 earns 5%, $300–999 earns 10%, $1,000–1,999 earns 20%, $2,000–3,999 earns 30%, $4,000–4,999 earns 40%, and $5,000 or more earns 50%.

Below $200 a week there is no payout. Each week is counted on its own, so a quiet week does not drag down the next one’s tier, but a busy week does not carry over either.

Example: a player who generates $1,200 of rake in a week lands in the 20% tier and receives $240 in cash for that week.

Payment and conditions

The rakeback is credited within 72 hours after the requirements are met, and the reward must be claimed within 7 days. Miss the claim window and the money is gone, so check the promotions area after every week.

Under the terms, deposits made with Skrill or Neteller are not eligible for the offer, players from Northern Ireland are excluded, and other country restrictions apply on the international site. 888poker.co.uk and other local versions have separate rewards.

The promotion is aimed at regular cash-game players at mid and higher stakes. Reaching $200 of rake a week usually means steady multi-table sessions, and the 30–50% tiers take serious volume.

Recreational players who generate less than $200 a week get nothing from this offer; for them the welcome bonus and the regular promotions matter more.

Tips

Track your weekly rake in the client and check where you stand in the table on Sunday. Adding an extra $50 of rake to reach the next tier can make sense; moving up to uncomfortable stakes just to hit a percentage does not.

Rakeback cuts the cost of poker, but it cannot rescue a losing strategy. Keep a separate poker bankroll, set limits on deposits and session length, and take regular breaks.
