ACR Poker Verification: Account Certification Explained (2026)

ACR calls its KYC process account certification. It is not needed to sign up or deposit, but the security team can ask for it at any moment, and most players meet it around their first serious withdrawal.

ACR Poker Verification: Account Certification Explained (2026)

When ACR asks for certification

The help centre says certification may be required as part of the room’s security protocols, without listing every trigger. In practice requests typically follow a first or large withdrawal, card deposits, a mismatch between profile and payment details, or an alert from the game-integrity team.

Some payment methods need verification up front: Luxon Pay, for instance, works instantly only after its own account check. Completing certification before you actually need the money is the easiest way to keep a payout out of a review queue.

Documents ACR accepts

ACR lists three groups of documents. The first is a driving licence or another government-issued ID, photographed on the front so that your name and date of birth are clearly readable.

The second is a utility bill no older than three months that shows your name and registered address. If household bills are in someone else’s name, a bank statement of the same age works — you may black out the financial figures — or a voided blank check printed with your name and address.

The third is clear pictures of every credit or debit card used on the site, showing your name and the last four digits. You can cover the middle digits and the CVV on the back, since ACR does not need them.

Uploading in the client

Certification is done from the cashier area of the client:

  1. 1In the lobby, click the green My Account button and open Deposit.
  2. 2Select Account Certification, then Document Verification.
  3. 3Choose the check you need: ID Verification, Proof of Address or Update Personal Information.
  4. 4Press Start and click the dotted box to attach a saved photo or scan.
  5. 5Click Send, then follow the review status on the History tab.

Photos that pass first time

Lay each document flat on a dark surface in daylight, with all four corners in the frame and no glare across the name or dates. A crop that cuts an edge, or a screenshot of a scan, can be rejected even when every detail is correct.

Check that the name and address in your ACR profile match the documents letter for letter. If you have moved, update the profile through Update Personal Information before sending the new bill.

Additional security checks

ACR’s security policy describes tools that go beyond paperwork: personal interviews with the security team, recorded or livestreamed video sessions, device verification and checks of software running alongside the client. These are typically used when the team investigates suspected bots or real-time assistance, not for an ordinary first cash-out.

Declining such a check can lead to restrictions on the account. If you are contacted, answer through the official support channel and ask exactly what is required and by when.

Keeping your documents safe

Send files only through the certification section of the client or in reply to an email that reached your registered address. Ignore anyone on social media or Discord who claims to be ACR staff and asks for documents, passwords or two-factor codes.

Personal data is handled under the room’s privacy policy. If storage or deletion of your files worries you, ask support for those details before uploading anything.

FAQ

01Must I certify before my first deposit?

No. Certification is optional at sign-up, but ACR may require it whenever its security team decides, most often around a withdrawal. Doing it early saves waiting later.

02My utility bills are in my partner’s name. What can I send?

A bank statement from the last three months in your own name, or a voided blank check carrying your name and address. If neither is possible, ask support for alternatives.

03How long does the review take?

ACR does not publish a fixed time, and reviewers report approval within a day in simple cases. Watch the History tab and reply promptly if something else is requested.
