PokerOK Ocean Rewards: Cashback Tiers from Fish to Shark
PokerOK players earn cashback through Ocean Rewards, the loyalty program GGNetwork introduced at the end of January 2026. Here is a practical guide: how a dollar of rake turns into Gems, what each of the eight tiers pays and how to exchange Gems without losing value.
The network loyalty program on PokerOK
PokerOK is a GGNetwork skin with a shared player pool, so it runs the network loyalty program rather than one of its own. Ocean Rewards started on 30 January 2026 and took the place of Fish Buffet, which many regulars remember for its wheel spins and point targets that had to be met again and again.
The basic logic is the same across the network, while individual terms may differ slightly depending on the region. The current description in Russian sits in the «Акции» section of the PokerOK client; check it whenever a figure here does not match what you see on screen.

From rake to cashback, step by step
Step one: you pay rake at a cash table or a fee in a tournament. For every dollar the program credits roughly 100 Tide Points and roughly 100 Gems.
Step two: Tide Points accumulate and lift you up the tier ladder. A promotion takes effect at once and brings a higher Gem multiplier. Step three: Gems, multiplied by that coefficient, pile up on your account until you exchange them for cash in the rewards shop.
In other words, Tide Points answer the question “which tier am I in”, while Gems answer “how much do I get back”. The program’s own motto sums it up neatly: collect more, earn more.
The tier ladder in three groups
It helps to split the eight tiers into three groups. Entry level: Fish with an estimated cashback of about 16%, Shrimp with about 25% and Crab with about 30%. This is where every new account starts, and active players move through these steps fairly quickly.
The middle of the ladder is Turtle at about 40% and Octopus at about 50%. The upper part is Dolphin at about 60%, Whale at about 70% and Shark at about 80%, the highest rate in the program. Those tiers are for players who put in serious volume month after month.

What the cashback chart tells you
The official chart turns those numbers into a curve. It rises almost evenly from Fish to Shark, without a sudden spike at the very top, so the program does not leave players who never reach the highest tier far behind.
Read the percentages as estimates. The final figure depends on your multiplier and on the way you exchange Gems, so two players in the same tier can end up with slightly different real returns.
The chart is also a handy planning tool: knowing roughly where the next tier sits lets you judge whether your normal volume will get you there this year, without forcing extra sessions.

When to exchange Gems
The shop rewards patience. A small exchange of 5,000 Gems gives $5, which equals 1,000 Gems per dollar. At 45,000 Gems for $50 the rate improves to 950, and at 90,000 Gems for $100 to 900 per dollar. For the biggest exchange in the official table, $50,000, it reaches 660 Gems per dollar.
If you play regularly, accumulating Gems and exchanging them in larger blocks beats cashing out every few days. If you need the money now, a small exchange is perfectly fine too; you just receive a little less per Gem.

Who gains the most
Seasonal players gain from year-long protection: a tier you reach is kept until the end of the calendar year, so a summer break or a busy stretch at work costs nothing. Regulars gain from the top rates, which under Fish Buffet were capped at 60%.
Players who were already on the network at launch did not start from scratch: their Fish Buffet rank or recent points counted toward the starting tier, and unclaimed rewards were paid out to balances. New PokerOK accounts begin at Fish and climb as they play.
Whatever your tier, cashback only returns part of the rake you have already paid. It is a bonus to a well-managed game, not a reason to play longer or at higher stakes than you planned.
FAQ
01Is Ocean Rewards on PokerOK the same as on GGPoker?
It is the GGNetwork loyalty program with the same tiers and currencies. Some terms may differ slightly by region; the «Акции» section of the PokerOK client shows the current version.
02Does tournament play count toward Ocean Rewards?
Yes. Tide Points and Gems are earned both for rake at cash tables and for tournament fees.
03What happened to my Fish Buffet points?
Fish Points earned from 1 December 2025 to 30 January 2026 were converted into Tide Points, and unclaimed Fish Buffet rewards were paid to player balances.
04Should I exchange Gems as soon as I get them?
Not necessarily. Larger exchanges get a better rate, so if you do not need the money immediately, saving Gems pays off.
