Winamax Expresso: Lottery Sit & Gos up to €2,000,000
Expresso is Winamax’s lottery Sit & Go: three players, a hyper-turbo structure and a prize pool drawn at random before the first hand. Buy-ins run from €0.25 to €500, and the top prize is €1,000,000 from a €2 buy-in and €2,000,000 at €500. Below: how the draw works and what the odds really are.
What Expresso is
Expresso is a three-player Sit & Go in which the prize is not fixed in advance. You press the Expresso button in the app, pick No-Limit Hold’em or Pot-Limit Omaha, the buy-in, the standard or Nitro speed and how many games you want to play at once.
Buy-ins are €0.25, €0.50, €1, €2, €5, €10, €25, €50, €100, €250 and €500. The €0.50 game tops out at €50,000 and the €1 game at €100,000. Every buy-in from €2 to €250 carries a €1,000,000 top prize, and at €500 it is €2,000,000.
Winamax sums it up as “the million for everyone”: a seven-figure prize, once reserved for high stakes, is now on offer from €2.

How the prize draw works
When the game starts, a random draw sets the prize pool at somewhere between 2x and 500,000x the buy-in; the very top multiplier exists only at €2. At €500, for example, the prize ranges from €1,000 to €2,000,000.
Big prizes are rare. In the €2 game about 54% of draws produce €4 (2x) and about 33% produce €6 (3x), while the €1,000,000 comes up once in ten million games. Winamax publishes the full odds table for every buy-in on the Expresso page.
For prizes of up to 20x the buy-in, the winner takes everything. From 50x upwards the prize is shared by all three players: 80% to the winner, 12% to second and 8% to third, so a million-euro game pays €800,000, €120,000 and €80,000.
Two speeds, rake and extras
Standard Expresso starts with 500 chips and 90-second levels; Expresso Nitro starts with 300 chips and one-minute levels. Both begin at 10/20 blinds, so a game usually lasts only a few minutes and quickly turns into all-in-or-fold poker.
Rake is 7% of the buy-in, or 8% for the €0.25 and €0.50 games. Winamax also runs a daily Expresso Challenge leaderboard with €10,000 in prizes, plus temporary themes: in October 2026 the €2 and €10 Expresso 2 Million Week games gave tickets to two €1,000,000-guaranteed tournaments.

Compared with other rooms
Every major room has a lottery Sit & Go. PokerStars Spin & Go goes up to 10,000x the buy-in, 888poker’s BLAST draws 2x to 10,000x with deeper stacks on bigger multipliers, and WPT Global Spins range from 2x to 6,000x with a progressive jackpot added on the top draw.
Expresso stands out for its ceiling: 500,000x at €2 and seven-figure prizes across almost every buy-in. It also offers a Pot-Limit Omaha version and a choice of two speeds. The other side of the coin is that the odds of those top prizes are tiny, and most of the expected value sits in the frequent 2x and 3x games.
Who it suits
Expresso suits players who enjoy short sessions and fast decisions, and who accept that luck decides most of the result. Its push-fold structure is easy to learn, which makes it an accessible first format for newcomers.
Players looking for a steady win rate usually prefer cash games or regular tournaments. In Expresso a skill edge exists, mainly in short-stack play, but variance is huge and the jackpot draw decides far more than any single decision.
Tips and responsible play
Pick a buy-in that is a small share of your bankroll: losing streaks of dozens of games are normal, and the big draws are too rare to plan around. Multi-tabling speeds up both wins and losses.
Winamax provides moderation tools made specifically for Expresso, in addition to the usual deposit limits. Use them, take breaks and stop when the game is no longer fun. A jackpot format is entertainment with a lottery element, not a way to make money.
