WPT Global PLO Rakeback: 30% Back Every Week

At WPT Global every Pot-Limit Omaha cash player gets 30% of their rake back each week, from micro stakes to the biggest games. There are no levels to climb and no thresholds to hit. Here is how the payment is calculated, when it arrives and how it stacks up against loyalty programs elsewhere.

What the promotion is

The 30% PLO rakeback is a flat return on the rake you pay at four-card (PLO4) and five-card (PLO5) Omaha cash tables. It applies at every stake and to both new and existing players, and it does not depend on whether you win or lose.

The terms say the promotion has run since 20 May 2025 with no fixed end date. During that time WPT Global has pushed Omaha hard, and PokerNews and Pokerfuse have repeatedly covered the offer as one of the room’s core features.

How the payment works

There is nothing to activate. Sit down at any PLO4 or PLO5 cash table and play as usual; the room tracks the rake attributed to you during the calendar week from Monday to Sunday.

Every Monday by 2 p.m. CET, 30% of that rake is credited to your account. Pay $1 and you get $0.30 back; pay $1,000 and you get $300. There is no minimum target, so even a light week earns its share.

Only rake counts. Money spent on table features and insurance is excluded from the calculation.

Terms and limits

The offer covers PLO4 and PLO5 cash games only; Omaha tournaments and other formats are not included. The terms do not mention a cap. As with all WPT Global promotions, you must be 18 or older, one account per household or device, and not playing from a restricted country.

PLO is excluded from WPT Global’s separate 40% Table Starter rakeback for high-stakes NLHE and Short Deck games, so 30% is the rate Omaha players should count on. The room can change or end the promotion at any time, so check the promotions page or the client for the current terms.

How it compares with other rooms

GGPoker’s Ocean Rewards return cashback that rises with your tier, up to about 80% at the very top — but you need serious volume to get there. 888poker pays extra weekly rakeback from 5% to 50%, starting only after $200 of weekly rake. PokerStars Rewards works through chests, with invite-only Select tiers reportedly returning around 50–60%.

WPT Global’s model is the opposite: a modest but guaranteed rate from the first dollar. For a low- or mid-volume Omaha player who would never reach a high tier elsewhere, a flat 30% is often worth more in practice.

Who it suits

The promotion suits recreational and semi-regular Omaha players who want predictable value without tracking levels or points. It also helps players moving up from Hold’em: PLO rake per hour tends to be higher because pots are bigger, so the absolute return grows quickly.

High-volume grinders can still benefit, but they should compare the effective rate with tiered programs at other rooms where they might already hold elite status.

Tips for PLO players

Check your weekly statement each Monday to make sure the payment matches your play, and contact support if something looks wrong. Remember that the welcome offer is a separate promotion, so read its terms if you are still clearing it.

PLO is a high-variance game, and rakeback does not change that. Choose stakes your bankroll can handle, set session and deposit limits, and never extend a session just to generate rake: 30% back is still 70% paid.
