HUDs and Trackers in Poker Apps: What’s Allowed in ClubGG, PPPoker and PokerBros (2026)

On desktop poker sites a HUD used to be standard kit. In club apps it’s the fastest way to lose your account and your balance with it. The good news: some apps give you approved tools out of the box. Here’s what’s built in, what’s banned, and how to check your club’s rules before you install anything.

Updated: 16 October 2026
Key takeaways
  • ClubGG is the club app with a built-in, approved HUD: Smart HUD at the table and PokerCraft for graphs, stats and replays.
  • Third-party HUDs, real-time trackers, RTA tools and solvers during play are banned in ClubGG — and in most serious clubs on other apps.
  • In PPPoker, PokerBros, X-Poker and Suprema the software rules are set by the club and union: ask your agent before you install anything.
  • Getting caught with banned software usually means a ban together with your balance. No stat is worth that.

HUD, tracker, RTA: what’s the difference

These words get mixed up, and the difference matters, because one of them is a study tool and another is plain cheating. A tracker stores your hands in a database and shows your results. A HUD (heads-up display) takes that database and draws stats for every opponent right over the table. RTA (real-time assistance) goes further: a program tells you what to do while the hand is still being played.

TrackerReads your hand histories into a database: winrate graphs, stats by position and game, filters for review.
HUDShows each opponent’s numbers — VPIP, PFR, 3-bet and so on — on top of the table in real time.
Hand historyA record of every hand you played. Any review, built-in or external, starts here.
RTA and solvers in playSoftware that suggests actions during a hand. That isn’t study, it’s cheating, and it’s banned everywhere.

How a classic third-party HUD works

Club apps break this chain at the first step: they’re built for phones and don’t hand standard history files to outside programs. That’s why third-party “HUDs” for club apps usually rely on screen-reading tools — exactly the kind of software clubs ban.

Why club apps are strict about third-party software

A club lives on its recreational players. If regulars show up with a database on every fish, the fish lose faster and stop depositing — so most clubs simply forbid anything they can’t see or control. The app adds its own layer: ClubGG, for example, reviews accounts for bots and for shared IP, GPS and device data.

Protecting casual playersA soft field is the club’s main asset. Tools that give regulars an edge over casual players are bad for business.
Game integrityScreen readers, scripts and RTA are hard to tell apart from the outside, so clubs ban the whole category.
Rules per clubIn PPPoker a club owner can even set software restrictions per table — whether a HUD is allowed is part of the table settings.
Ban with balanceIn moderated clubs the usual penalty is a ban together with the chips on your account.
“Everybody uses it” is not a defence. The club decides what’s allowed, and the club holds your balance.

ClubGG: Smart HUD and PokerCraft are built in

ClubGG runs on GGPoker’s technology, and it brings GGPoker’s own tools with it. They’re part of the app, approved by it, and nobody gets banned for using them — unlike third-party software.

Smart HUD

The official HUD shows basic stats on your opponents — VPIP, PFR and others — right at the table, on tables where it’s allowed. You don’t install anything: it’s already there.

PokerCraft

PokerCraft is ClubGG’s built-in analytics. It saves every hand you play and works like a tracker without breaking any rules.

GraphsWinnings over time plus an all-in EV line — you see where you ran well and where you didn’t.
StatsVPIP, PFR, results by position and by game.

ClubGG hand history: replays, export, PT4 and HM3

Every hand you play in ClubGG lands in PokerCraft. Here’s how to find a specific one:

  1. 1
Open PokerCraft from the app menu or after leaving a table.
  2. 2
Pick a session or a hand from the list — the replay opens.

  3. 3
Filter hands by game, date or result to find the ones you want to review.

ClubGG doesn’t officially support third-party trackers: there’s no direct import into PokerTracker 4 or Hold’em Manager 3. Third-party hand history converters exist, but they don’t always work, and using them is at your own risk and subject to your club’s rules.

PPPoker: it depends on the club and union

People search for “PPPoker HUD” and “PPPoker Card Catcher” a lot. The honest answer: PPPoker leaves it to the club and union. In most serious clubs third-party software — HUDs, trackers and screen-reading tools like Card Catcher — is banned, and the penalty is a ban with your balance.

PPPoker club, shop and tables — software rules come from the club, not the app

When a PPPoker club owner creates a table, software restrictions are one of the settings, next to blinds, rake and seats. So two tables in the same club can, in theory, have different rules. Many clubs also ban third-party HUDs on the desktop client — ask your agent before you play.

Card Catcher and similar tools are a risk zone: in moderated clubs they get you banned. Don’t gamble your deposit for a few stats.

PokerBros, X-Poker and Suprema: check your club’s rules

For these apps there’s no app-wide software policy we can point you to — the rules are set by clubs and unions, and they differ. PokerBros and X-Poker have no official PC client, so on a computer people play through an Android emulator; Suprema has a Windows client. Either way, whether any HUD or tracker is allowed is a question for your club.

  • What to ask your agent
  • Is any HUD or tracker allowed — and which one, by name?
  • Are hand history converters or screen-reading tools allowed?
  • Is playing through an emulator on PC OK in this club?
  • What happens to a player’s balance after a software ban?

Get the answer in writing in your chat with the agent. If the rules change later, you’ll have proof of what you were told.

Pokerrrr 2: hand history with auto-export

Pokerrrr 2 saves every hand automatically. In the game history you can switch on Auto Export, and the history file can be emailed, saved to your files or opened in another app for analysis in a tracker. Pokerrrr 2 also runs an Anti-Abuse Policy against collusion and multi-accounting.

Exporting your own hands to review after a session is one thing; running a live HUD over the table is another. For the second, the rule is the same as everywhere: ask your club first.

How to improve without a third-party HUD

You don’t need a database on every opponent to get better. Most of the edge in soft club games comes from your own decisions.

  1. 1
Review your own hands after each session: PokerCraft replays in ClubGG, exported history in Pokerrrr 2.
  2. 2
Check your own stats — VPIP and PFR in PokerCraft show whether you play too many hands or too passively.
  3. 3
Keep simple notes on regulars: who never folds, who only raises the nuts. A notes app is enough.
  4. 4
Study away from the table: charts, solvers and training between sessions — never during a hand.
  5. 5
Track results and rakeback so you know where you actually win — see bankroll management for club poker.
  • Never do this
  • Run a solver, chart overlay or any RTA tool while you’re in a hand.
  • Install screen readers or “Card Catcher” tools without written permission from the club.
  • Download modified app builds that promise a HUD or “see cards” features.
  • Let someone else play or “help” on your account.

If a club flags you

Software disputes are decided by the club or union, not by the app: ClubGG, for instance, doesn’t mediate disputes between players and clubs. Talk to your agent and the club manager, keep the chat history, and if you used only built-in tools, say so. Multi-accounting is a separate, serious violation — in ClubGG a second account means a ban in every club at once.

If your balance is frozen during a review, here’s what to do: a poker club froze my balance.

FAQ

01Is a HUD allowed in ClubGG?

The built-in Smart HUD — yes, it’s approved and nobody is banned for it. Third-party HUDs and real-time trackers are banned.

02Can I use PokerTracker 4 or Hold’em Manager 3 with ClubGG?

Not officially: there’s no direct import. Converters exist but don’t always work and are used at your own risk, per your club’s rules. PokerCraft is the approved alternative.

03Is a HUD allowed in PPPoker?

It depends on the club and union. Most serious clubs ban third-party HUDs, trackers and Card Catcher, and the penalty is a ban with your balance. Ask your agent first.

04Do PokerBros clubs allow HUDs?

There’s no app-wide rule we can quote — it’s up to each club and union. Ask your agent and get the answer in writing.

05Is PokerCraft free?

Basic PokerCraft is free. Downloading hand histories up to 90 days old requires the WSOP+ Premium membership.

06Can I use a solver?

Studying with a solver between sessions is normal poker study. Using one during a hand is real-time assistance — banned in ClubGG and treated as cheating everywhere.
