How to Start Playing X-Poker
X-Poker is a free app for private poker clubs. Unlike a regular poker room, there is no shared cashier and no shared real-money lobby: you play inside a club and get your chips from its agent. Below is the full path from installation to your first hand, plus what to check before your first deposit.
What to prepare in advance
- An iOS or Android smartphone. A Windows computer works too — there’s an official client: X-Poker for Windows.
- An email address or phone number you can access right now — for signing up and recovering your login.
- A club ID and agent ID — from the directory or from a player you know.
- A payment method the agent accepts: most often crypto, a bank transfer or an e-wallet.
- The amount you are willing to spend on playing — and the stakes you will play.
Six steps to your first hand
- Install X-Poker from the App Store or Google Play. If the store is unavailable, get the APK only from the official website x-poker.net. Step by step for every device: how to download X-Poker; there’s a Windows client too — X-Poker on PC.

- Create an account: login method, nickname and avatar. After signing up you get a numeric player ID — the agent will need it. Details: X-Poker sign-up.

- Enter the club ID on the home screen in the “Enter Club ID” field, and the agent ID in the “Enter Referral ID” field. Verified clubs are in the directory.

- Send a request: tap the magnifier on the home screen, enter the club ID and agent ID in the Join A Club window and tap Join; then message the agent your nickname and player ID. Details: how to join a club.

- Get chips from the agent: agree on the amount and payment method, and the agent credits chips to your club balance. Cashouts work the same way, through the agent: deposits and withdrawals.

- Take a seat: choose a game and stakes in the club lobby. Switch between multiple tables using the tabs at the top of the screen.

How to choose your first club
In X-Poker, a club is the poker room, the cashier and customer support all in one. So compare clubs as carefully as you would compare poker rooms. This matters especially here: X-Poker traffic is lower than that of the niche leaders, and the club determines whether tables will run at all during your hours.
Your first session: avoiding mistakes
Start with a small deposit and stakes lower than you are used to. The X-Poker field is loose: lots of preflop all-ins and multiway pots, so the swings are bigger than in regular online Hold’em. Ask the agent about the chip rate — how much one chip is worth in real money: that determines what you are actually playing for.
A good habit is to make a small test withdrawal after your first session. That way you check the agent’s speed and honesty before a large amount builds up on your balance.
- Common beginner mistakes
- Sending money before the club has approved your request.
- Not discussing in advance how and when money is cashed out.
- Sitting down at Short Deck or PLO without knowing the rules — X-Poker games.
- Believing ads for “free chip bonus codes” — why it’s a scam.
