Grant Ticket: a tournament ticket or voucher for a player

How to give a player a ticket to a specific club tournament (Ticket) or a voucher for an amount with an expiry date (Voucher) from the player’s card — Player Management → Grant Ticket.

Members → player → Member Detail → Player Management → Grant Ticket

Grant Ticket gives a player a tournament ticket or voucher. It’s a handy way to reward a player without sending chips: a leaderboard prize, a gift for a newcomer, compensation or a free entry to a freeroll.

There are two types. A Ticket is for a specific club tournament: you pick the tournament and the player can register with the ticket. A Voucher has an amount (Voucher Value) and an expiry date (Expire Date): the player can use it towards a buy-in until it expires. The ⓘ next to Type explains the difference in detail.

Tickets and vouchers come out of the club balance (Club Balance). For the club owner it’s Unlimited. A granted ticket can’t be taken back, but if the player doesn’t use it before it expires, the cost goes back to the club balance automatically.

  • 12 — the ticket: how the player will see it — buy-in 10 and expiry date.
  • 13 — important: a granted ticket can’t be taken back. If the player doesn’t use it before it expires, the cost is returned to the club balance automatically.
  • 14 — Send.

Which to give when

  • Ticket — when the prize is tied to one tournament: e.g. entry to the Sunday tournament for first place in a leaderboard.
  • Voucher — when the player chooses where to play and you want a time limit: e.g. a one-week voucher for a newcomer.
Give vouchers a short expiry — the player comes back to the club sooner.
Announce granted tickets in the club chat — it advertises the tournament.
