Agent Win/Loss Limit: a stop-limit for an agent’s line

Win/Loss Limit on ClubGG caps how much an agent and all their players can win or lose per day or week. Once the limit is hit, the agent’s line can’t join new games.

Agent Win/Loss Limit is a stop-limit for an agent’s whole line. It tracks the combined result (P&L) of the agent and all their players and, once it reaches the limit, keeps them out of new games until the period ends.

There are two limits. Max Profit is how much the line can win. The agent’s players’ winnings are money the club will pay out through the agent, so Max Profit caps how much the club can lose on that line in a period. Max Loss is how much the line can lose — protection against the agent’s players losing more than the agent can pay the club at settlement.

The limit resets daily or weekly, by the club time zone. You choose whether tournament results and Bad Beat Jackpot payouts count. A value of 0 means no limit.

When it triggers, the agent and all their players can’t join new games. Anyone already at a table finishes the current hand and is removed. Tournament players aren’t removed and play until the tournament ends. The restriction lifts at the start of the next period — or immediately if you raise or remove the limit.

The hint: Max Profit / Max Loss, period, tournaments

  • 9 — Max Profit / Max Loss: based on the combined P&L of the agent and all downline members. A whole number from 0 to 100,000,000. Once reached, players can’t join new games.
  • 10 — Reset Period: how often the accumulated P&L resets — daily or weekly, by the club time zone.
  • 11 — Tournament / Bad Beat Jackpot: whether tournament results and jackpot payouts count towards P&L.
  • 12 — set to 0: if Max Profit or Max Loss is 0, that limit isn’t applied.
ClubGG: The ClubGG hint: when the limit triggers and when it lifts.

The hint: when it triggers and lifts

  • 13 — when it takes effect: for new hands that start after saving.
  • 14 — when the limit is reached: the agent and the whole line can’t join new games; players at a table finish the hand and are removed; tournament players continue until the tournament ends.
  • 15 — removing the restriction: immediately at the next reset, or when the limit is removed or raised.

Choosing the limit

  • Max Profit — roughly the credit you granted the agent: the club won’t lose more than that on the line.
  • Max Loss — what the agent can definitely pay at settlement.
  • Weekly suits weekly settlements; Daily suits new agents you don’t trust much yet.
Tell the agent about the limit in advance — otherwise their players get kicked from games with no explanation.
The limit protects the club, it isn’t a punishment: set one for every new agent.
