FAQ

Is ClubGG free?

Yes, downloading and playing with play chips are free. Real-money play goes through clubs; the paid WSOP+ Premium subscription is only needed for exclusive tournaments with WSOP satellites.

How is ClubGG different from GGPoker?

GGPoker is a licensed room with a cashier; ClubGG is a club app from the same developers: the software is similar, but you play in private clubs through agents.

Does a regular player need WSOP+ Premium?

No. Cash games and joining clubs are free. The subscription is only for exclusive tournaments, WSOP satellites and premium features; the current price is in the app.

Are HUDs allowed in ClubGG?

Yes — ClubGG has a built-in official Smart HUD and PokerCraft stats. They’re approved by the app, and you won’t get banned for using them, unlike third-party software.

What is the official ClubGG website?

clubgg.com is the official site; that’s where you download the PC and Mac client.

Where do I get a ClubGG club ID?

From a club agent or owner. IDs of verified clubs with rakeback are in the RatePokerClub directory. You can’t find a club by name in the app — only by ID.

How many clubs can I be a member of?

One account can be a member of 40 clubs and create up to 3 of its own.

Does ClubGG have a web version?

No, only apps for Windows, macOS, iPhone/iPad and Android.

Is ClubGG legal?

The app is legal and available in the App Store and Google Play. Whether real-money play through clubs is legal depends on the laws of your country or state.

Does ClubGG pay out?

The app itself doesn’t hold players’ money — payouts go through club agents. Verified clubs have paid out reliably for years; scam clubs do exist, so it all comes down to choosing the right club. We match you with verified clubs that have a deposit guarantee for free.

Is ClubGG legit or a scam?

There have been no confirmed cases of the shuffle being rigged in ClubGG. The real risks aren’t the deal but dishonest agents and team play in poorly moderated clubs. In decent, moderated clubs these problems are practically nonexistent.

Can you play ClubGG for real money?

Formally ClubGG runs on play chips, but they carry real value: deposits and cashouts go through a club agent. So yes — for real money, just through an agent rather than a built-in cashier.

Is ClubGG safe to play?

The app is stable and secure, but the safety of your funds depends on the club and agent — only play in verified clubs. We’ll help you choose one for free.

Is it legal?

ClubGG runs on play chips and is not a licensed gambling operator. Whether real-money play is legal depends on your jurisdiction — check your local laws.

Does ClubGG have rakeback?

The app itself doesn’t pay rakeback — clubs and unions do. Top clubs offer rakeback (a share of your rake returned), plus leaderboards and rake races. We’ll help you find the club with the best rakeback for free.
