Basic table settings
Ring Game, title, Pin to the Top, jackpot, Private Game, Squid Game, AoF, seats and action time — what to choose for your first cash table.
After you choose the game, the table settings screen opens. It’s long and scrolls down, so we go through it in parts, and the numbers in the text match the numbers on the screenshot. The top part covers the essentials: the game format, the table name, how it shows in the lobby and which special modes are on.
Start with the format (2): for your first table pick Ring Game. Then give the table a clear title (3). Players see it in the lobby and choose a table by it, so titles that show the game and the stakes at a glance work best: “NLH 0.01/0.02”, “NLH 6-max 0.05/0.10”. Names like “Table 1” or “Mike’s game” tell a new player nothing.
Next come the special-mode toggles: Bad Beat Jackpot, Private Game, Squid Game and All-In or Fold. Each of them changes how the table plays, and on a first table it’s best to leave them off. A plain cash table with no surprises is what a player expects when they walk into a club for the first time. Add modes later as separate tables, once you have regulars and know what they’re missing.
At the bottom of this block are the table size (9) and the action time (10) — the two settings that affect the pace of play the most. 6 seats is the most popular club format: the table fills faster, there are more hands per hour and the game is livelier. An Action Time of 15 seconds is a good start: enough for a normal decision, not so long that the table falls asleep. For tough spots players also have a time bank — more on that on the next page.

Basic settings (screenshot 1)
- 2 — Ring Game / SNG / Tournament: cash table, Sit & Go (starts when it fills) or a scheduled tournament. For a first table: Ring Game.
- 3 — Title: the table name in the lobby. Recommendation: put the game and stakes in it, e.g. “NLH 0.01/0.02”.
- 4 — Pin to the Top: pin the table to the top of the club lobby, above the others. Recommendation: turn it on for your main table once you have several; with one table it doesn’t matter.
- 5 — Bad Beat Jackpot: the table takes part in the bad beat jackpot — pots contribute to it, and a player who loses with a very strong hand gets a payout. Recommendation: off while you have few players: contributions shrink pots and the jackpot takes a long time to build.
- 6 — Private Game: a restricted-access table, not open to every member. Recommendation: off; use it for a separate friends-only or high-stakes game.
- 7 — Squid Game: a special mode — every player must win at least one pot; the last player without a win pays the others. Recommendation: off; it’s a fun format for a separate table, not your first one.
- 8 — All-In or Fold: an AoF table — all-in or fold only, no regular bets (see what AoF is). Recommendation: off; AoF is a separate table for fans of fast play.
- 9 — Table Size: number of seats, from heads-up to 9-max. Recommendation: 6 seats is the most popular format; choose 9-max for a home game with a big group.
- 10 — Action Time: time per decision — 13 to 25 seconds. Recommendation: 15 seconds; 20 if most players are beginners.
